As the S CLUB JUNIORS hop, skip and jump off pop's starting blocks, we ask which one's gonna be first to make it One Step Closer to the finish line?

HEAT 1
Event: the egg-cellent egg and spoon race!
Contestant: Hannah
Age: 11
It's a hard-boiled job, but someone's gotta do it! And if Hannah can't keep a steady hand, she might just end up with egg in her face!

So Hannah how do you like your eggs?
Scrambled on toast. You don't have to have them with ketchup, but it's nice if you can. Yum!

Would you say you're a good egg?
Everyone says I am, so I hope so! I don't like arguments and I like to be nice to everbody.

What was the last good deed you did?
Well, I alaways let people borrow my stuff. Stacey's always borrowing my clothes. She likes wearing my denim jacket - but I don't mind. No, really, I don't mind!

Have you ever egged someone on to do something wrong?
We always get Daisy to ask our chaperones for things, like if we could all go to the pool. We're like (Go on Daisy-ask!" We don't force her. She doesn't mind. Daisy's not shy at all.

Which of the Juniors isn't shy about doing eggy farts?
Calvin! We're always going, "Eurgh, Calvin!" He probably gets the blame, even when it's not him, but that's his fault for doing smelly farts!

Poo! Right, you'll never win the egg and spoon if you're a clumsy clot. So, what's the clumsiest thing you've ever done?
I'm always falling over and constantly covered in bruises! When we were on tour with S Club, we had to stand on boxes on stage and I slipped off mine.

Oops! That doesn't sound promising for the race! So, who's the leader of the Juniors then?
Well, Aaron is the oldest, but we're all close and we all listen to each other. There's no real leader, but Frankie and Rochelle are like the parents of the group.

Are the Juniors good sports?
Yeah! We're all good sports. I don't think there are any bad losers, really. (Thinking) Well, Daisy doesn't sulk, but if you say she's done something, she keeps going, "No, I didn't do that!" to try and get out of it.

Who do you reckon is that fittest Junior?
I haven't seen us all run, but we're all really fit when we dance together.

Apart from the egg and spoon, what is your fave event on sports day?
I like athletics. Every year at school a few people from each year get to enter in an event called Area Sports, and I've entered every year as a runner. I'm better at sprinting than long distance-I'm the fastest girl in my class.

Go, girl! So what's the best prize you could scoop for winning the egg and  spoon race?
(Grinning cheekily) Everything! I'd love to go to Egypt. I've been before and I loved it, but I didn't see the pyramids, only the sphinxes.

Have you ever had a bad sporting injury?
I have ever really hurt myself. I fall over, but it's done on grass so I never hurt myself.

If it's first the worst, second the best, third the one with the hairy chest, which one are you?
I'd like to be second-the best-of course!

The best way to win the egg and spoon race is to...
Cheat, ha-ha! No, I'd just have to keep a steady hand and practise the night before!
